It has been great - they are worth the money. I am one of those people that want the best equipment when I am doing something so when I started I bought the cheapest shin pads I could find. Now that I know I love the training and the process, I upgraded and it was the best decision I made. I went with the large, but probably could have used mediums. The fit well, they are super comfortable and are made of high quality materials. No regrets.
